About SipSmart
SipSmart began at Avotiņi.
Not at a whiteboard or a big office, but in the countryside — while looking for a calmer place and a simpler daily routine.
Five years ago, I bought a rural property called “Avotiņi”. I wanted to create a place for rest and nature, without being tied to every small task of the day.

Avotiņi · Latvija
Built from real hospitality work in Latvia.

Avotiņi made us look for a simpler way.
As I shaped a setting for us and our guests, I kept returning to the moments that demand a host’s presence: questions, orders, payments and small services. It should be easy for the guest and clear for the operator.

Rezi Cabin revealed the right moment.
A neighbour created Rezi Cabin, a hospitality cabin where guests often asked to buy a cocktail or use an additional service. But the host is not always on site.

Travel showed us where hospitality is heading.
Travelling with my wife, we saw digital menus become a natural part of the guest experience around the world. A guest opens a QR, chooses what they need, and does it immediately — without calls, waiting or uncertainty.

The first impulse
Avotiņi, nature, and an idea for a calmer daily rhythm.

The operator’s view
A guest experience starts where a need appears.

The practical moment
Machine, offer and guest in one place.

From idea to flow
A simple way from a QR to a choice.
That is how SipSmart started
So a good offer is available even when the host is elsewhere.
SipSmart turns products and services into a clear digital menu. A guest can choose and pay on their phone; the operator sees what was purchased and in which context. We start with a simple QR and grow it into a complete self-service experience.
