Operator responsibility
The operator defines the offer, retail price, availability, fulfilment process, and purchase reference. The operator is responsible for correct offer information and for informing guests.
Alcohol-related offers
When an offer includes alcoholic drinks, the operator is responsible for applicable licences, age verification, and legal compliance. In a BYOB model, capsules do not contain alcohol; the operator defines the venue-specific operating process.
Payments
Payments are processed through Stripe. The guest sees the final price before payment; commission, payout handling, and other commercial terms are set in the operator’s agreement with SipSmart.
Liability
The operator must ensure that physical products and equipment are safe, installed according to manufacturer instructions, and available under the venue’s rules.
