Service
SipSmart is a payment platform that lets guests at hotels, apartments, and guesthouses order and pay for drinks via QR code and Apple Pay/Google Pay.
BYOB model
In the MVP phase, guests bring their own spirit (Bring Your Own Bottle). We only sell non-alcoholic capsule kits. The host is responsible for any alcohol trading licence if they sell spirits themselves.
Age restriction
To pay for an alcoholic product, the guest must confirm being at least 18. SipSmart is not liable for false declarations.
Payments and revenue
Payments are processed via Stripe Connect. The host gets 88% of each transaction; the SipSmart commission is 12% (may change per pricing plan). Bank payouts — weekly, automatic.
Liability
SipSmart is not liable for physical damage caused by misuse of the machine or drinks. The host must ensure the machine is set up per manufacturer instructions.
