Instructions
A short guide to your digital menu.
SipSmart is built so an operator team can prepare an offer simply and a guest can complete a purchase quickly on their phone.
Operator team
- 01
Prepare the offer
Name, price, availability, and a short description. Start with one clear menu rather than the full catalogue.
- 02
Choose QR placement
Place the QR where a guest makes a decision: by a table, in a room, by a machine, or in an event zone.
- 03
Choose a reference
When needed, ask only for a room, booking code, wristband, or table. Do not ask for data that isn’t needed for fulfilment.
- 04
Review the order
After payment, the team sees the order, amount, and its reference so it can be fulfilled or delivered.
The guest flow
- 01Scan the QR with the phone camera
- 02Choose a product or service
- 03Add a reference only when the venue asks for it
- 04Pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or card
Use a reference purposefully.
A purchase reference helps the team connect an order to a guest context. It is not biometric recognition and it does not come from Apple Pay data. The operator should tell guests which reference is used and how it is retained.
